"One subject which I believe requires more self-reflection is that of identity, whether that be personal, social, cultural, sexual, and/or religious identity. The difficulty in resolving one’s proper identities lies in the ambiguity of how each identity manifests itself. From my own and other’s experiences, when trying to determine all of one’s identities, one may find themselves searching through a stream of consciousness. In order words, each identity may merge into each other, creating a multi-identity which is lucid and unique.
This piece without text incorporates a primary colour palette to introduce the symbolism of foundation and the intrinsic self– not influenced by socio-cultural conditioning, other’s opinions, and fear.”
